About Me
I started in this industry working on a PC game called Falcon and a Nintendo game called Star Trek:The Next Generation. I learned how to make 8 bit art so that Patrick Stewart himself would approve the one pixel highlight on the 16x16 pixel portrait I made of him. Fast forward... at warp speed to where I am now, and I am still making really awesome games, but I have found myself approving art more often than actually making art.

I love making assets for games, but I learned early that my passion and a newly discovered talent were actually managing art teams. I am an artist and I know what motivates artists to do their best work. I learned how to build incredibly talented and diverse teams capable of making AAA titles. I learned how to master a schedule, and my time estimates became incredibly accurate and appreciated by the artists and by production. How I loved all that even more than I loved creating art! I could probably write a whole book on that topic alone. However, I’ll save those thoughts for now to prevent the site from going down! I still have a little more to say...

After Star Trek, I helped create a Michael Jordan basketball game then five years of Star Wars, sprinkled with some Arcade Games, PS2 games, and even Slot Games, I find myself still inspired by the ever-changing fast pace of game development. Be it on the phone, or on console, my heart and soul is in the game. All of it.
My online portfolio demonstrates some work that I have done, but more importantly, the art my teams have created. I thank each and every artist I’ve had the privilege to work with, as each of them have taught me something that helps to improve my efforts in my next creative challenge. Additionally I have found great inspiration and motivation from their talent, their drive, and their skills. It continues to motivate me to constantly improve as an Art Director and as an artist!
